Mike has served as a financial advisor since 1999, starting his career with Edward Jones. Intent on providing solutions that are best for the client, he became independent and founded Summit Investments in 2002. In 2012, Mike co-founded Garton Pate Financial Advisors with Rick Garton. Now a part of the Navigator Financial team, Mike is pleased to continue putting client needs first.
He grew up in Fort Wayne and attended Bethel College. Mike and his wife Kathy have been happily married for 40 years. They recently moved to Rochester, Minnesota to help care for their two grandchildren. Mike continues to work full-time as a Financial Advisor for Navigator Financial, working remotely in Minnesota much of the time and traveling back periodically for in-person client meetings.
